Established in 27 March 1971, the ASEAN Tourism Association continues to drive sustainable tourism growth, focusing on ASEAN as a single destination.
The ASEAN Travel Exchange (ATEX) 2025, in its inaugural year, the Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Environment (Sabah), Datuk Seri Christina Liew, suggested something radical about regional tourism’s future - that the ATEX should become an annual event on the ASEAN calendar.
